Ordinary or regular time refers to the standard duration of a match, it excludes any extra time or overtime. For example, in football, ordinary time is 90 minutes plus any injury/stoppage time at the end of the halves.
Unless otherwise stated, the result at the end of ordinary time is decisive for the settlement of bets. This means that any extra time, overtime or penalty shootouts will not impact the settlement of the bet unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Exception: The result after any extra time or overtime is decisive for the settlement of bets on American sports (American football, basketball, baseball). For bets on ice hockey, including on the NHL, the result after ordinary time is decisive for the settlement of the bet.
